- Title : Discreteness criteria for higher dimensional Möbius groups
(joint work with WANG Xiantao)
- Abstract:
- A theorem of Jørgensen states that a non-elementary subgroup of
PSL(2,C) is discrete if and only if every two-generator subgroup
of it is discrete.
There are many generalizations of this theorem in higher dimensions.
In this talk, two discreteness criteria for a non-elementary subgroup
of PSL(2,Γn) will be presented, where Γn is the n-dimensional
Clifford group.
- Date : April 14 (Wed) 15:30 - 17:00
- Place : B707 Math. Dept., Fac. Sci., Hiroshima University
