題目：Correlations between zeros of random polynomials, scaling limits and supersymmetry.

アブストラクト：I'll discuss random polynomials in one variable and their distribution of zeros. Suppose there is a zero at a point z; what's the conditional probability of finding a zero at a nearby point w? We let the degree N go to infinity and look at the zeros under a microscope. The resulting distribution of zeros is called the scaling limit. A formula for the correlations of zeros of polynomials in one variable in the scaling limit was computed by a statistical physicist in 1996. We showed that the same formula holds on any compact Riemann surface, and we also gave formulas in several complex variables. So I'll state the results and show graphs of the functions (computed using Maple). At the end I can mention the methods: a generalization of a formula of Kac and the Szego kernel.

Weiss氏の講演のアブストラクト：We effect a multifractal analysis of the Lyapunov exponent for the continued fraction transformation, and as a consequence obtain some new results on the precise exponential speed of convergence of the continued fraction algorithm. This analysis also provides new quantitative information about cuspital excursions on the modular surface.
